VIGAN SOLIDARITY CELEBRATION

  Vigan City is the only heritage city in the Philippines is once again celebrating the World Heritage Cities Solidarity Cultural Festival for the whole month of September.

     There are so many interesting activities lined up to experience and enjoy for this year:
The Solidarity Food and Trade Fair where food establishments offer the famous Vigan cuisine that has been enjoyed through the centuries like bagnet , chicha-corn, empanada, longanisa, ukoy, Vigan's rice based delicacies and more and you can also buy furnitures, plants and Vigan souvenir like key chains,T-shirt and more. You can also watch Tres Patrimonio Zarzuela. Other events of the festival include singing competitions, photography, zarzuela Ilocana (Ilocano stage play), dallot (a part of the Ilocano oral tradition of debate through  singing), kinnantaran (a form of debate between a man and a woman through singing), cultural quiz, sabayang pagbigas (speech choir), daniw (poetry), storytelling, writing on the history of Vigan as told by senior residents, painting, and folk dancing.There is also a Solidarity Mass to be held at Vigan Cathedral. The history of Vigan came alive in a street drama and Solidarity parade and a cultural show.

I also discovered the importance of photoshop and how it was used.      Using the photoshop is very hard because of its wide range and many different tools , but I overcome it through searching and trials on internet and through the unending help and guidance of my seatmates and my friends.      Moving on, I will do my best to learn creating and editing a very nice pictures that would isnpire and give knowledge to the one who seas it.
